Camilla de Courcy Trasenster was born in 1951.

She is the daughter of Captain Derek Russell de Courcy Trasenster and Susan Felicity Standish.

She married Brigadier Clendon Daukes, son of Lt.-Col. John Clendon Daukes and Elizabeth Douglas, in 1974.

From 1974, her married name became Daukes.
