Sheila Margaret Byron


Daughter of Richard Byron and Mable Mackenzie Winter. .

Born in 1903, the second year of the reign of King Edward VII, and died aged a hundred and three in the fifty-fifth year of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II  She has 18 direct descendants in the family.

Biography


Sheila Margaret Byron was born on 30 October 1903 in Mallow, Cork, her father, Maj.Richard Byron, was 33, and her mother, Mable, was 28. She was married three times and had one son and one daughter. She died having lived for more than 100 years. She died in February 2007 in London, England at the age of 103.

Biography


Sheila Margaret Byron was born on 30 October 1903.

She was the daughter of Colonel Richard Byron and Mabel Mackenzie Winter.

She married, firstly, James Roy Notter Garton, son of William Garton, on 7 June 1923. She and James Roy Notter Garton were divorced in 1929.

She married, secondly, Edward William Standish, son of Evelyn Cecilia Phipps, on 31 January 1929.

She married, thirdly, George Munro-Kerr, son of Professor J. M. Munro-Kerr, on 7 December 1935.

She died on 30 January 2007 at age 103 at The Dower House, Headbourne Worthy, England.

From 7 June 1923, her married name became Garton. From 31 January 1929, her married name became Standish. From 7 December 1935, her married name became Munro-Kerr.
