Born in 1924, the fourteenth year of the reign of King George V, and died aged eighty-nine in the sixty-second year of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II  He has 11 direct descendants in the family.

Biography


Captain Derek Russell de Courcy Trasenster was born in 9 November 1924 in Newton Abbot, Devon.

He was the son of Major William Augustus Trasenster and Brenda de Courcy Barrett.

He married Susan Felicity Standish, daughter of Edward William Standish and Sheila Margaret Byron, on 17 December 1949 at St. Paul's, Knightsbridge, London, England.

He died on 31 October 2014 at the age of 89.
