The Richardson Brick

This is the Richardson Brick, manufactured in Teynham, Kent, by the brickworks of Charles Richardson. This is the only brick found after decades of research, it comes from a garden path a few miles from Teynham. Millions of Richardson bricks were made, and they formed the foundations of The Albert Memorial in Hyde Park, the Pavilion in the Oval Cricket Ground, Eros in Piccadilly and many other places.
