Christopher Richardson


Lived during the reign of George II.

The Limehouse Richardsons


Christopher Richardson and his wife Jane are believed to have originated in York and are the first known ancestors of the Limehouse branch of the Richardson tree.

Their children were baptised in St Katharine's by the Tower—full name Royal Hospital and Collegiate Church of St. Katharine by the Tower—was a medieval church and hospital next to the Tower of London. The establishment was founded in 1147 and the buildings

Research indicated he may well have been the Principle clerk and Superintendent of Dingley's sawmill at Limehouse

Edward Castle, Breaking Peace > riot, 6th July 1768. Reference Number: 117680706-47 Offence: Breaking Peace - riot Verdict: Not Guilty Edward Castle was indicted for that he. together with divers others to the number of one hundred or more, their names unknown, on the 10th of May unlawfully, tumultuously, and riotously assembled to the
