Arthur Grattan Guinness


Son of Edwin Rowland Guinness (Sen.) Guinness and Florence Annie Plaisted. .

Born in 1890, the fifty-third year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged eighty-one in the nineteenth year of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II


Second Lieutenant Arthur Grattan Guinness was born on 28 August 1890 in New Zealand, his father, Edwin, was 43 and his mother, Florence, was 30. He had three brothers and one sister. He died on 12 October 1917 in Belgium at the age of 27, and was buried in Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
