Daughter of Christopher Rowland Richardson and Martha Ann Humphreys. .

Born in Rungpore, West Bengal, India in 1819, the fifty-ninth year of the reign of King George III, and died aged seventy-one in the fifty-fourth year of the reign of Queen Victoria  She has 118 direct descendants in the family.

Bio


Catherine Marian Richardson was born on 21 July 1819 in West Bengal, India, her father, Christopher Rowland Richardson, was 34, and her mother, Martha, was 29. She married Francis Hart Vicesimus Guinness on 16 November 1844 in Patna, Bihar, India. They had seven children in 18 years. She died on 11 February 1891 in Christchurch, Canterbury, at the age of 71, and was buried in Linwood, Canterbury.

She meet and married Francis (Frank) Vicimus Hart Guinness , the son of Rev Hosea Guinness , the eldest son of Arthur Guinness the Irish brewer.

He left Ireland as a young man and settled briefly in Kumtowl Tirhoot ,Patna, India,where he worked at Christopher Rowland Richardson's Indigo production facility, this is where he met and
