Biography


Donald Grattan Guinness was born on 6 May 1920 in Auckland, his father, Edward, was 44 and his mother, Ida, was 33. He died on 3 August 1978 in his hometown at the age of 58. He married Barbara Thomasine Cahill in 1982.
