Born in 1881, the forty-fourth year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged seventy-four in the fourth year of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II  He has 3 direct descendants in the family.

Biography


Charles Vernon Dicken was born on 13 August 1881 in Hampshire, his father, Rear Adm Charles Gauntlett Dicken, was 27 and his mother, Margaret , was 25. He married Alice Mary Ogden in 1917 in Cairo, Al Qahirah, Egypt. They had two children during their marriage. He died on 28 January 1956 in Morocco at the age of 74.
