Biography


Rear Admiral Charles Gauntlett Dicken R.N. was born on 26 April 1854 in Bournemouth, Hampshire, his father, Rev.Aldersey Dicken was 60 and his mother, Caroline, was 38. He married Margaret Christiana Cornish and they had two children together. He then married Ada Mary Byron and they had one son together. He died on 7 September 1937 in Winchester, Hampshire, at the age of 83.

Biography

Lt Com. John Aldersley Dicken RN was born on 23 September 1896 in Surbiton, Surrey, his father, Rear Adm. Charles Gauntlett Dicken, was 42 and his mother, Ada, was 29. He had step two brothers.

He died on 8 April 1959 in Winchester, Hampshire, at the age of 62, and was buried there.
