Biography


Margaret Christiana Cornish was born on 21 July 1856 in Dubbo, New South Wales, her father, Edward, was 34, and her mother, Margaret, was 25. She married Rear Admiral Charles Gauntlett Dicken in October 1880 in Exeter, Devon. They had two children during their marriage. She died as a young mother on 25 January 1888 in her hometown.
