Born in 1889, the fifty-second year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged seventy-two in the fifty-sixth year of the reign of King George III

Biography


Private Cyril Bernard Jeffreys was born on 18 July 1889 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, his father, Joseph, was 26 and his mother, Sarah, was 26. He had two sisters. He died on 18 October 1916 in France at the age of 27, and was buried in Somme, France.
