Ruth Richardson


Daughter of Charles Richardson and Ann Pengilley. .

Born in 1827, the seventh year of the reign of King George IV, and died aged seventy-two in the sixty-third year of the reign of Queen Victoria  She has 12 direct descendants in the family.

Hart Street, Henley


Born in Magdalen Street, Wanstead, Essex.
Christened at Brickfield Congregational Church, West Ham, Essex
In the spring of 1857 she married Joseph Jeffreys in Kingston, Surrey.
Joseph ran a grocery business in Hart Street, Henley with two shop assistants.
It is likely that she took care of her father Charles in his final years, as she was with him at the time of the 1861 census
