Biography


Sarah Scroggs Rose was born in October 1862 in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, her father, Joseph, was 35, and her mother, Mary, was 30. She married Joseph Jeffreys Jun. in January 1888 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. They had three children during their marriage. She died on 4 March 1951 in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, at the age of 88.
