Thomas Ellis


Born in 1781, the twenty-first year of the reign of King George III, and died aged eighty-five in the thirtieth year of the reign of Queen Victoria  He has 3 direct descendants in the family.

Biography


Thomas Ellis ( Yeoman)was born on 7 January 1781 in Heathfield, Sussex, his father, Jeremiah, was 26 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 21. He married Abigail Apps on 14 June 1805 in Southwark, Surrey. They had ten children in 16 years. He died at 1 High Street, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England on 4 January 1867 having lived a long life of 85 years.
