Born in 1810, the fiftieth year of the reign of King George III, and died aged seventy-five in the forty-ninth year of the reign of Queen Victoria

Bio


Selena Ellis was born on 14 April 1810 in Heathfield, Sussex, her father, Thomas, was 29, and her mother, Abigail, was 27. She married Charles Richardson on 4 November 1840 in Lambeth, Surrey. They had eight children in 13 years. She died on 1 March 1886 having lived a long life of 75 years.
