Born in 1755, the twenty-eighth year of the reign of King George II, and died aged seventy-nine in the fifth year of the reign of King William IV

Biography


Jeremiah Ellis was born in 1755 in Heathfield, Sussex, his father, Henry, was 24 and his mother, Lucy, was 38. He married Elizabeth Knight on 21 April 1780 in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. He died in 1835 in Heathfield, Sussex, having lived a long life of 80 years, and was buried in Sussex.
