Patricia Jane Cundall was born on 12 September 1943. She is the daughter of Commander Rodney Cundall and Rosemary Wakefield Horton. She married Captain Maxwell John Barrett, son of Edward Barrett, on 2 April 1966.
Patricia Jane Cundall usually went by her middle name of Jane. Her married name became Barrett.
