Frank Guinness Richardson


Son of Frederick Charles (Sen.) Richardson and Catherine Mary Guinness. .

Born in 1894, the fifty-seventh year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged fifty-seven in the fifteenth year of the reign of King George VI  He has 46 direct descendants in the family.

Bio


Frank Guinness Richardson was born on 11 January 1894 in Orakei, Auckland, his father, Frederick, was 42 and his mother, Catherine, was 37. For a short time as a young boy he moved to London with his parents, but because of the preferred life style as a young man relocated back to New Zealand, where he met married Florence Edith Spray in 1925. They had three children (Charles James Guinness. Frank Guinness & Patrica Noel = Peter Creswell Grierson) in 10 years. He served with NZ Medical Corp. in WW1 . Post war he purchased and pioneered a dairy farm at Torehape East Road, Kaiheri , near Ngata.
He died on 21 June 1951 at the age of 57, and was cremated in Auckland ,before his ashes were spread over the family farm from a friends tiger moth.
