William Hogan


Born in London, England in 1792, the thirty-second year of the reign of King George III.

Godson


Godson of his grandfather William Richardson of Calcutta, was bequeathed £1500 of East India stock when he was only 7 years old.

Biography


Captain Michael HOGAN was born on 29 September 1766 in Clare, the son of Cornelius. He married Frances ( Fanny) Richardson and they had four children together. He also had one son and one daughter with Ann Ryan. He died on 26 March 1833 in Hogansburg, New York, USA, at the age of 66.

Several of Hogan’s early business partnerships were shaped by his fortuitous friendship with father in law Capt.William
