Born in York in 1711, the fourth year of the reign of Queen Anne.  She has 1 direct descendant in the family.

Jane Potter's position as wife of Christopher Richardson is speculative. The biographer Michael Hogan Styles claimed that Christopher came from York, there is a record of a marriage of a Christopher Richardson to Jane Potter at St-Michael-le-Belfrey church in York on 26/09/1735, and William their son left provision for his spinster aunt Mary Potter of Cleasby in 1798.
