Biography

Jane Elizabeth Richardson was born on 23 September 1813 in West Bengal, India, her father, Christopher Rowland Richardson Sen., was 28, and her mother, Martha, was 23. She married John Walter on 5 January 1835 in India. She had two brothers and six sisters.
