John Gregory Cresswell Grierson was born in 1955 in Te Kuiti, New Zealand when, his father, Peter, was 27 and his mother, Patricia, was 18. He was raised on the family farm at Honikiwi .He has one son and one daughter with wife Michelle Ann Reaburn. He had one brother and four sisters. John owns and operated Prescott Trailers , based in TePuki. And lives at Works Road KaitiKati.
