Born in Simla, Bengal, India in 1885, the forty-eighth year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged eighty-eight in Hove, Sussex in the twenty-second year of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II  She has 3 direct descendants in the family.

Biography


Alice Mary Ogden was born on 20 September 1885, her father, William, was 32, and her mother, Emily, was 27. She married Charles Vernon Dicken in 1917 in Cairo, Al Qahirah, Egypt. They had two children during their marriage. She died in June 1974 in Hove, Sussex, at the age of 88.
