Born in 1827, the seventh year of the reign of King George IV.  He has 13 direct descendants in the family.

Col. Christopher Rowland Richardson was born in 1837, his father, Christopher Rowland Richardson Sen,, was 52 and his mother, Martha, was 47. He married Frances Annie Yearsley and they had three children together. He also had one daughter with Lydia Bulsowe.

He died on 6 February 1900 in Southsea, Denbighshire, at the age of 63, and was buried in Roade, Northamptonshire.
