Louisa Richardson


Daughter of William Pengilley Richardson and Sarah Jeffreys. .

Born in 1863, the twenty-sixth year of the reign of Queen Victoria.


Living with her parents in Brunswick Lodge in Vauxhall, single, 1891 census.

In 1896 her father died, bequeathing a sum of money (her uncle Charles had in turn left him £6000 in his Will) to set up a home for her, her mother and younger sister Anne. By the 1901 sentence Louisa, her younger sister Anne, her younger brother David, her older sister Harriet and Harriet's son Bertram Elliot were all living together in Vauxhall.

Biography

Louisa Richardson was born in July 1862 in Lambeth, Surrey, her father, William Pengilley Richardson, was 39, and her mother, Sarah Jefferys, was 37. She had four brothers and three sisters.
