Biography


Lt Col. James Henry Stewart Murray was born on 14 September 1866 in India, his father, Harvey, was 25 and his mother, Mary, was 24. He married Margaret Richardson and they had four children together. He then married Annie Dora Haskins on 29 October 1935 in Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire. He died on 28 February 1948 in Chelfham, Devon, at the age of 81
