Bio


Ralph Bourn was born on 11 March 1903 in Mavis Enderby, Lincolnshire England, his father, Hugh Bourn, was 54 and his mother, Emma Plumtree, was 41. He married Chloe Davidson on 21 March 1935 in Waverley, Manawatu-Wanganui. They had seven children in 13 years. He established two local farms specialiing in stud bulls and sheep .He died on 26 August 1976 in Patea, Taranaki, at the age of 73, and was cremated.
