Wallis Bourn was born on March 15, 1940, in Patea, Taranaki, his father, Ralph, was 37 and his mother, Chloe, was 26. He married Kathleen Joyce ( Kay) Clarkson on July 23, 1960, in his hometown.
They had four children during their marriage. He died on August 18, 2016, in Hawera, Taranaki, at the age of 76.

BOURN, Wallis (Wally):Wally passed away peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital surrounded by family on Thursday, 18 August 2016, aged 76 Years. Loving husband of Kay, father and father-in-law of Kareena and Mike, Susan and Phil, Robin, Dianne and David. Grandad to Chris and Nick, Chloe, Renee and Stacey, Ashley and Ryan, Hayden and Toni.

Great-grandad to Blake, William and Caleb, Aliha and Laykn. A service to celebrate Wally's life will be held In the Clegg's Funeral Services Chapel on Tuesday, 23 August at 11.00am followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Wally to Hospice Hawera would be appreciated and can be left at the service.
