Edward Henry Harvey


Son of John William Francis Harvey and Elizabeth Edwards Lavington Penny. .

Born in 1869, the thirty-second year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged forty-seven in the sixth year of the reign of King George V


At the time of his death in Portsmouth in 1916, Edward was a Captain in the Royal Navy following a proud tradition of several generations.

He died within two months of his younger brother Francis, with no family he bequeathed his inheritance to his nephew John Malcolm Harvey, an inheritance John received 11 years later when he reached 21 years of age,
