Joseph Sen. Jeffreys


Son of David Jeffreys and Rebecca Elizabeth Beaumont. .

Born in Wycombe Buckinghamshire in 1823, the third year of the reign of King George IV, and died aged fifty in the thirty-seventh year of the reign of Queen Victoria

Biography


Joseph Jeffreys was born on 28 October 1824, his father, David, was 42 and his mother, Rebecca, was 41. He married Ruth Richardson in April 1855 in Essex. They had three children during their marriage. Joseph's biological sister Sarah Jeffreys married William Pengilley Richardson (1823-1895) his wife Ruth Richardson's brother.

He died on 28 May 1874 in Henley On Thames, Oxfordshire, at the age of 49.
