Lord Milo Luke Dickon Douglas was born on 4 June 1975 in Merton, Surrey, his father, Sir David Harrington Angus Douglas ( 12th Marquess of Queensberry) was 47 and his mother, Alexandra Sich, was 31. He had two brothers and five sisters. He died on 21 July 2009 in London, England, at the age of 34.


Lord Milo was second in line, because his older 42-year-old brother
Sholto was declared legitimate by Lord Lyon upon application by his
parents (simplifying matters). Otherwise, he would have been Viscount
Drumlanrig.

For years, while working as a teacher and later as a charity worker,
he battled depression. Finally, unable to cope any longer, he leapt to
his death from a council tower block.
