Clinton Crawford L Mackenzie (Tobacco Planter) was born on 10 April 1869 in Anerley, Surrey, England his father, James, was 44 and his mother, Ruth, was 35. He married Selina Guinness (Essie) MacKenzie in Rhodesia, Eastern Cape, South Africa. He died in March 1947 in Bournemouth, Hampshire, at the age of 77.
