Harold Dolphin Allan Isaac de Buriatte was born on 1 July 1891 in Newcastle, Shropshire, his father, Henry, was 29 and his mother, Alice, was 28. He married Marion Doris MURRAY on 1 October 1921 in West Bengal, India. He died on 5 November 1942 in Old Shoreham, Sussex, at the age of 51.
