Born in 1760, the year King George III took to the throne, and died aged eighty in the third year of the reign of Queen Victoria  She has 9 direct descendants in the family.

Biography


Ann Gooding was born in 1760 in Exeter, Devon, the daughter of Mr. Gooding. She married Thomas Pengelly on 4 February 1780 in Sidmouth, Devon. They had seven children in 14 years. She died on 2 November 1840 in Bratton Clovelly, Devon, having lived a long life of 80 years, and was buried there.
