Biography


Charlotte Isabel Sedcole McCardle was born on 23 September 1901 in New Zealand, her father, William, was 33, and her mother, Charlotte, was 29. She married Frank Hart Guinness in 1924 in her hometown. They had three children during their marriage. She died on 17 October 1986 in Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui, at the age of 85.
