Lady Elizabeth Westbrook was born in 1848 in Tasmania, Australia, the daughter of John. She married William Stanford and they had one daughter together. She then married Sir Arthur Robert Guinness on December 21, 1878, in Greymouth, West Coast, New Zealand. She died on January 12, 1920, in Greymouth, West Coast, New Zealand, at the age of 72
