Biography


Janet Margaret MATTHEWS was born in June 1868 in Newton Abbot, Devon, her father, Edward, was 31, and her mother, Annie, was 41. She married Edward Richardson on 30 July 1901. They had two children during their marriage. She died on 28 September 1932 in East Cowes, Hampshire, at the age of 64, and was buried in Whippingham, Hampshire.
