Laura married Clephane Louis Richardson in Saint Olaves Marygate, York, England on 1 December 1860. he was shipped to India with the 58th Regiment and died of cholera in Jingergatchia, Jessore five months later.

Biography

Laura Kate Ditmas was born on 4 February 1840, her father, Thomas, was 33, and her mother, Kate, was 24. She married Lt Clephane Louis Richardson on 1 December 1860. She died on 8 May 1861 in West Bengal, India, at the age of 21.
